Sharp was born in Rochester (New York) and embraced the world of music. While at the Hochstein School of Music, she was a student of clarinet, cello as well as piano. She received a full scholarship to The Boston Conservatory for her passion for school theater. Following her graduation from Cum Laude with a B.F.A. at the Conservatory, Sharp set her goal to perform on stage. Sharp was a part of The Broadway National Tour of Carousel. Other theatrical productions include: Abyssinia, Aida, Thunder Knockin', Jitney, The Producers, Big Street, Suburb and Joe Turner's Come and Gone, in which Sharp performed alongside writer August Wilson himself. Sharp is currently engaged in several projects of her own that include screenplays as well as productions. Sharp is currently working on her first full-length studio album. If she's not in the front or behind the camera, or working in a studio to record music, Sharp has a love of fitness. She is always fitness classes and learning Krav Maga.. She is also a piano player along with hiking, and taking long journeys. Sharp lives with her husband and children living in Los Angeles.
