Angela Gossow Urach

Angela Gossow grew up in Cologne with three other siblings. When her parents separated, she was 17 years old. older. Their business went bankrupt, which added the financial burden. In addition, the fact that she was anorexic and also bipolar, added further to her problems. Gossow has been very honest regarding her decision to quit ARCH Enemy's band as their vocalist. She explained, "There's a place and time for everything." All of this began in the year 1991. I was simply losing my enthusiasm for doing this living a life on the road. So, to not appear as if I stepped down. The group was initially led by Johan Liiva who was replaced by German singer Angela Gossow in 2000. She's best known for her role as the lead singer of the Swedish metalcore band Arch Enemy, and was the original vocalist, and founding lead of Canadian metalcore outfit The Agonist. Arch Enemy has three chapters each one with its distinct attraction.
